About Saveloysucd

Saveloysucd headquarters in Kumasi

Our Story

Saveloysucd was founded in 2015 by Emmanuel Owusu, a former banking executive who recognized a critical gap in Ghana's financial education landscape. After 15 years in the banking industry, Emmanuel observed that traditional financial institutions were failing to adequately serve everyday Ghanaians who needed practical saving and investment guidance.

What began as informal workshops in Kumasi community centers quickly gained popularity as participants experienced tangible results from implementing Emmanuel's straightforward financial strategies. By 2017, Saveloysucd had established its permanent training facility in Adum, the heart of Kumasi's business district, and expanded its curriculum to include comprehensive wealth-building programs.

The company's name, "Saveloysucd," combines "save" with the Akan phrase "loy sucd," which roughly translates to "steady progress." This embodies our belief that consistent, incremental financial habits are the foundation of long-term wealth creation.

Throughout Ghana's economic fluctuations over recent years, Saveloysucd has adapted its teaching methodologies to address emerging financial challenges while maintaining our core focus on practical, accessible financial education. Today, we've grown to a team of 12 dedicated professionals serving over a thousand clients annually through both in-person and virtual training programs.

What Our Clients Say

Portrait of Grace Amoah

"Saveloysucd transformed my approach to money completely. I was always good at earning but terrible at keeping it. Their savings workshop gave me practical systems that fit my irregular income as a business owner. Within 8 months, I had three months of expenses saved—something I'd never achieved before despite 15 years in business. Their methods work because they understand the real challenges Ghanaians face."

Small Business Owner, Kumasi

Portrait of Daniel Osei

"As a teacher, I never thought investing was for people with my income level. The Investment Basics course changed everything—they showed me how to start with just 50 cedis per month and build from there. The team explained everything in simple terms without making me feel judged for my beginner questions. Two years later, I have a growing investment portfolio and am teaching my students basic financial concepts too."

"My husband and I attended Saveloysucd's couples financial planning workshop when we were drowning in debt and arguing constantly about money. Their practical approach helped us develop a unified financial plan that respected both our priorities. The emergency fund strategy proved invaluable when my husband temporarily lost his job last year—we had enough saved to maintain stability while he found new employment. We now recommend their workshops to every couple we know."
